How has the life of ordinary people in the remote villages of the countries of the former Soviet Union changed, 30 years after the collapse of the communist system? In the play, “Let of steam, Kazakh style,” the story of a simple farmer who alone opposes the new nomenclature of power, the new economic order and reflects on the meaning of human existence as a whole is narrated. What came of this we have to find out. This play won the Grand Prix of the international literary contest "Ruh" in Astana in 2017.
